Spiced Pumpkin Flax Teething Biscuits

Flax seeds are one of the best plant sources of Omega-3 fatty acids.

From Jen's Cookbook: Growing Up Gourmet

Makes 16 biscuits
  1. PREHEAT the oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out on a floured surface until 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter or cut into squares.
  4. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely. Store 1 week in an airtight container, or freeze for up to 3 months.
  6. Don't have pumpkin puree? Substitute with 1 mashed banana, or 1/3 cup applesauce or sweet potato puree
