Meet Mike the Trail Guy Suminski. This extreme athlete is no stranger to running and has competed in 37 marathons over a 10 year period. On top of that, in the last 10 years he has completed 17 Ultra marathons, including two Leadville 100 mile races! This August, it will take him 28 to 29 hours to complete his third Leadville 100 miler.
Since eating and digesting solid foods at high altitudes (10,000 - 12,000 ft) is a problem, Mike maintains his energy levels by eating Baby Gourmet pouches (recommended to him by his naturalpathic doctor) after around 3 hours of running. Not only does he love our Vanilla Banana Berry Risotto and Apple Sweet Potato Berry Swirl combos, the simple twist off nozzle makes for an easy meal on-the-go!
Check out running tips from Mike the Trail Guy on his blog here- www.thetrailguy.com. And be sure to look out for a post on another Baby Gourmet athlete and ultra runner, Moe the Eagle!

I've heard of so many parents who struggle with mealtimes. But if it tastes good, she's going to want to eat it.
